NMSNA is proud to share that we have organized a scholarship fund in Mr. Lyman Graham’s name with hopes of presenting our first award in the Spring 2021.    

 

NMSNA decided in honor of our beloved Lyman, that a scholarship would be awarded to a NMSNA member to Lyman’s favorite learning forum, the Legislative Action Conference (LAC) held in Washington D.C.  It would only be fitting the recipient of this scholarship attend this conference.  The goal of course would be for the recipient to continue the work towards achieving "Universal Meals for All of our Babies" which was a passionate agenda item for Mr. Lyman every year he attended LAC.  

 

We had several ideas on how to fund this annually, however since Covid19 cancelled our ANC in June we are reaching out to our membership & industry partners humbly asking for donations to see if we can still send our first recipient to LAC in Spring 2021.   No amount is too small.  If you can spare anything it will be gladly accepted. 

 

We all understand that we are trying our best to survive during this new and difficult normal that we have been catapulted into because of the pandemic and this probably is the worst time ever to ask for anyone to donate anything. However, any amount you can give would be a step in the right direction towards making the Lyman Graham Scholarship a reality.
