You can earn CEUs toward your certification renewal in a variety of ways.
Participate in SNA state affiliate-approved educational programs
Attend workshops and seminars
Attend state and national conferences
Complete home study/correspondence courses
Complete online courses on SNA’s Learning Center at www.schoolnutrition.org/learningcenter
Complete Professional Development Articles (PDAs) in School Nutrition magazine
or state PDA’s
Participate in study group meetings to review and discuss at least two foodservice/
management-related articles
Participate in Personal Wellness programs
Participate in Webinars/Satellite Teleconferences
Teach a course - first time only
Publish an article in a national journal/magazine
Earn a High School Diploma or GED during your renewal period before July 1, 2012
Attend Exhibits/Food Shows
Teach Classroom Nutrition Lesson
